A very relaxed spot with beautiful bright decor. The food was some of the best I’ve ever eaten in Vt ( and I’ve lived here for forty years). Even their egg salad on milk bread blew my mind. It took a while to get my food, but it was well worth the wait.

A friend who lives in Bristol recommended this for breakfast while we were visiting the area. We were a little disappointed that they didn’t have a hot breakfast available the day that we went, but apparently it fluctuates from day today. We were not disappointed by the sandwiches, cheese and crackers and dips and things we purchased from the cold case. We also enjoyed coffee and golden milks and some baked goods. There were four of us and we spent a little over 100. It was pricey but everything was delicious!

Go to this place. Everything is extraordinary - the bread, the baked goods, the jams, the soup, the salad, everything. The combinations of flavors and textures are great and clearly very carefully thought out. Friendly service, bright and spacious place to sit down and eat. I will be dreaming about the bread and butter with the labneh add-on for a long time.

The food is seriously good. Everything I’ve tried is well-seasoned, perfectly cooked, and so creative. Whatever is happening in the kitchen is truly art. And the pastries!!?! My gluten free heart is so so happy. It’s also a great place to find really fun local ingredients and sit down for a bit to work, read, or chat with friends! I just wish it was a teensy bit less expensive considering how often I now have the impulse to buy myself a treat here lol

A new high bar set for my cycling adventures. Always searching out the best breakfast/ coffee/ bake goods in an area while cycling, this place hit a home run. Super nice people, a good vibe, and a great menu that delivers. I’ve cycled many parts of the country, and the Minifactory is now at the top of my list.

While first walking into the Minifactory, I was invited with a sweet aroma and vibrant colors filling the cafe/shop. In the back left corner of the store, there is a little retail section filled with local produce, meats, cold beverages, and, of course, V Smiley products. I personally purchased some Raspberry Jam from them (can confirm it's absolutely delicious). When I visited (Monday, March 28th) for breakfast and coffee, they were on their final day of a three-day soft opening, meaning they only had their Pecan Ginger Scones left in stock for pastries. Let me tell ya, fantastic scones! A crisp and crunchy outside with a soft and delicate inside. Also, quite filling! Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of this, but I also a got beautiful Cappuccino from their current Barista, Noah. He's very friendly and makes some damn good coffee! The rest of the staff were also very lovely! They also had this coffee cheat sheet which is very useful for someone who knows next-to-nothing about coffee (like me). It cost me 30 total for a Cappuccino, Two Scones, the Jam, and a tip. The Jam was most expensive item I bought (13). While certainly not dirt cheap, everything here is well worth it's price! All in all, V Smiley's Minifactory is a cozy and splendid experience!
